This is a special kind of project for us because the client had a clear vision, in line with our ideas for a house in the mountains.
The house is made of wood, with big windows facing the surrounding beautiful view and the terrace, a lot of light to the living space, one beautiful master bedroom and 2 small ones, 2 bathrooms and that's it, simple plan but with big impact.
A cozy and modern living space with high ceilings and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The ceiling and floor are made of wood, adding a warm touch to the room. The room opens onto an outdoor deck through glass doors, blending indoor comfort with easy access to nature.

Description:
Facing the beautiful hills and mountains of the surrounding area, this A-frame house is a dream come true for the client, with all day sun on the main facade, nested in the hill and just big enough to call it a vacation house. The views of the area are the main attraction of the lot so the terrace off the living room and the main bedroom are facing that way, the kitchen and the technical space/bathroom are facing north, in the back. The client requested that the design's overall vibe be more like a bar or cafe than a classic office.
This interior design project masterfully blends modern design with industrial charm. The space is defined by a few lines present in the ceiling and on the floor, accentuated by an exposed industrial ceiling painted in a sleek black. The intricate network of pipes and ducts overhead adds a raw, yet refined touch to the ambiance.
The design centers around the bar area, which can be used as a standing desk.
To promote relaxation and socializing, the workspaces in the open area are structured to create a couch in the middle.
The flooring is a thoughtful interplay of textures, featuring wooden panels in the seating area transitioning to dark carpeting along the walkway.

Description:
The aim of this project was to redesign the interior of an old 4 room apartment in a beautiful area of Bucharest, Cotroceni, using a contemporary and minimalist style. The project involved designing all the fixed furniture and choosing the materials, textures, finishes, furniture, lighting, art and accessories to create a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing environment. The design process started with a 3d construction of the apartment to better communicate our ideas to the client, we chose the main 2 materials to be wood and white plaster and we played with a few accent colors like pale green and contrasted with dark gray. The result is a happy customer and a beautiful project for our portfolio.

The house is located on the edge of a forest near Snagov, in a very quiet area and on a generous plot, ideal for relaxation. There are several big trees on the site that were taken into account in the design, also the light and the orientation of the rooms were the basis of the resulting plan. In the morning, the light enters the kitchen and the entire living area through the slats of the pergola, and in the evening the sunlight reaches the bedroom area. In summer mornings the terrace is shaded by trees and the pergola and in the cold season the sun enters the house through the upper windows in the living room to warm the space. For the interior design, we chose neutral colors and materials, with few elements and accent colors, which create a feeling of calm and visual relaxation, with the focus being on light and textures.

Located in one of the most beautiful areas of Bucharest, the house needed a total facade modification to "get in line" with the overall design of the Cotroceni district.
Getting inspiration from the simple/cubic stile of the inter-war period and the rough plaster facade finish, we updated the house with a new style to match the owner requests.

Champ du Golf

Champ Du Golf is an interior golf club in Bucharest, Romania.
The brief was to accommodate 3 special units made out of sensors, image projectors, special indoor-turf and all the usual equipment for playing golf.
After presenting the concept to the client we agreed to do something different than a smoking jacket cigar club and focused on the feeling of something more familiar and cozy, something more fun, like playing video games with your friends in the living room, staying at the bar, watching your mates playing, relaxing on the sofa waiting for your turn, having fun, more like a feeling than actual shapes and lines.
One of the problems we had was that you would need some place for the golf-club to rest when you are playing, because the golf bag is too big and cumbersome, so we got our inspiration from the big curtains that rest on each side of the screen, we took the undulating pattern and continued it on the furniture, made from painted mdf, so it creates a hard resting place for the club.
The color palette and materials were inspired by the natural environment of a real golf course, combined with soft textures and textiles. Lighting was integrated in the overall design of the furniture that separates the 3 main units so you feel integrated but at the same time comfortable that you are not bothered by other players.
We agreed to keep the open plan of the floor and build everything out of furniture with minimal intervention to the layout of the building, this made the process easier and less time consuming for everybody on the site.
The reception is located on the ground floor and the open plan playing area is located on the first floor, a big room with the 3 units, separated by furniture used for storage and display, which also hides all the equipment.

The owner wanted a fully equipped restaurant from scratch, with a full kitchen capable also for delivery and drive in, with state of the art equipment. The oriental influence of the kitchen had to be translated also in the architecture so we design a mesh facade with arches, like a semi-transparent veil that invites in and also protects from the busy street. A terrace was placed on first floor, safe from the street noise, with the help of the mesh facade and the green area.

Description:
Usually, the way glasses are presented in the shop window comes down to simple metal holders, holders that are also used indoors, together with prints and posters of brands or models wearing glasses.
The brands are presented more than the frames, that's why we didn't want to draw attention to the glasses, not to the brands, so we discussed with the client the proposal not to put companies or advertisements in the window.
The concept started from the way the glasses frames are mounted, the fastening system of the frame arms. Thus we came to the idea of making wooden arms connected with metal plates. The lighting is done with led strip placed behind the wooden arms in a milled channel, the lighting of the glasses is hidden and thus the frames are surrounded by light.

Usually, the way glasses are presented in the shop window comes down to simple metal holders, holders that are also used indoors, together with prints and posters of brands or models wearing glasses.
The brands are presented more than the frames, that's why we didn't want to draw attention to the glasses, not to the brands, so we discussed with the client the proposal not to put companies or advertisements in the window.
The concept started from the way the glasses frames are mounted, the fastening system of the frame arms. Thus we came to the idea of making wooden arms connected with metal plates. The lighting is done with led strip placed behind the wooden arms in a milled channel, the lighting of the glasses is hidden and thus the frames are surrounded by light.

The structure is anchored to the ground through a reinforced concrete base with a tubular space frame attached to it, inspired by a construction technique used in automotive industry, made out of galvanized steel tubes, welded to the reinforced steel bars of the concrete base.
The polished aluminum and composite carbon fiber panels are glued to the space frame using special adhesive. the interior area of the panels is painted in golden yellow.
The space in the middle of each structure is illuminated upwards by led spotlights. around the base of each one, using its outline, a cluster of hexagons is formed (concrete ledge on the contour of each one) focusing the passersby towards the factory. out of these hexagons, three of them are suited with photovoltaic panels and one has a hatch from where the batteries and auxiliary systems of the autonomous lightning system can be serviced.

Arhitecturescu is very proud to present you a special project, made by our team, for an international competition. A Popular Culture Hub in Tokyo, with a central library connecting all the interior spaces, floating on concrete trees and surrounded by vegetation and overall openness.
The context - Tokyo city - a true metropolis that has everything from state-of-the-art buildings to old and historic places, from the commotion of busy areas to the silence of traditional gardens. The subject - Pop Culture - a mixture between old and new, classic and innovative, it challenges in some aspects the traditional culture and art. We created a building that fits in this context - from exterior geometry to floor plans and materials it creates a harmonic fusion between the opposites. Regular traditional patterns blends with the organic shapes of the structure and vegetation, the use of cold materials (concrete) and warm ones (lamellar wood), the opaque surfaces pierced by glazed walls, concrete pillars that resembles trees, with roots and branches, and actual trees next to them.
